Pcgames.com.cn, 8/22/12

Hangzhou-based online game developer and operator Baiyou Digital Technology has let go over 100 of its employees, promising severance pay to start in the next half year.

Baiyou Digital Technology general manager Chen Ningxuan has announced that the company's browser game "Fugui Shanzhuang" and its development staff have been disbanded. It is rumored that the development of the game and its developers will be transferred to a game company run by the general manager himself. Baiyou Digital Technology had a development team of close to 60 people and had already spent half a year and millions of RMB on the development of "Fugui Shanzhuang." Currently, a number of companies have expressed interest to operate the game for a 7-digit RMB contract.
