Shiji Tiancheng Invests RMB 100 Mln to Promote FPS

Donews, 9/19/12

Cao Nianbao, chairman of Shanghai-based online game developer and operator Shiji Tiancheng, has revealed the company will invest over RMB 100 mln to promote its licensed first-person shooter (FPS) Shadow Company.

Cao said that since the FPS game market is reaching saturation in the low-end and mid-range segments, Shadow Company targets the high-end of the market and features a unique hero system and tech system.

Shiji Tiancheng marketing manager Li Lei said the game will directly compete with Tencent's (0700.HK) licensed FPS Call of Duty, adding that the marketing team will closely track their rival and draft marketing policy accordingly.
