Rumor: Tencent Handset Manager User Base Reaches 100 Mln

According to an industry source, Tencent's (0700.HK) Handset Manager mobile app (formerly QQ Handset Manager) has exceeded 100 mln users. If true, Tencent's Handset Manager has become the second domestic mobile security app to exceed 100 mln users, following Qihoo 360's (NYSE: QIHU) 360 Mobile Safe app. In August 2010, Tencent released QQ Security Assistant, the precursor to Tencent Handset Manager.
