China Mobile: Contactless Payment Client Hits 60 Mln Users

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has announced that the company's 2.4 GHz contactless mobile payment service has reached over 60 mln registered users. The total value of transactions through the company's contactless mobile payment client is estimated to reach RMB 25 bln in 2012, 2.5 times greater than the value of transactions in 2011.
