Actions Semiconductor Sees Q3 2012 Profit of USD 0.7 Mln

Chinese fabless semiconductor firm Actions Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ACTS) has announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012. Revenue for the third quarter of 2012 was USD 15.8 mln, up 25.4% QoQ from revenue of USD 12.6 mln for the second quarter of 2012, and up 3.3% YoY USD 15.3 mln for the third quarter of 2011.

Net income attributable to Actions Semiconductor's shareholders for the third quarter of 2012 was USD 0.66 mln, as compared to a loss attributable to Actions Semiconductor's shareholders of USD 0.56 mln in Q2 2012, and down 74.6% YoY from a net profit attributable to shareholders of USD 2.6 mln for the third quarter of 2011.

For the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2012 ending December 31, 2012, Actions Semiconductor estimates revenue in the range of USD 13.5 to USD 14.5 mln.
