Wal-Mart Installs Own Managers in Yihaodian Executive Positions

An Yihaodian employee revealed on November 6 that Guo Dongdong, former VP of finance at the Chinese B2C e-commerce site, will now serve as VP for food and beverages, and that former VP of HR Liang Hong will serve as VP for business ethics. Guo and Liang's positions will be filled, respectively, by Song Youwen and Dai Qing, both former members of Wal-Mart's e-commerce team.

Wal-Mart-branded home furnishings have quietly begun to appear in Yihaodian product listings alongside labels identifying them as "Wal-Mart brands sold exclusively online through Yihaodian." Wal-Mart-brand items will retail for the same price online as offline.
