China Fiber Optic Q1-Q3 2012 Revenue Up 19% YoY

Chinese fiber optic patch cords manufacturer China Fiber Optic (3777.HK) has announced its financial results for the nine months ended September 30, 2012. Q1-Q3 2012 revenue increased 19.0% YoY to RMB 1.06 bln from RMB 877.73 mln in the first nine months of 2011.

The company does not report profit and loss figures in the third quarter of the fiscal year.

Revenue from fiber optic patch cords was RMB 1.06 bln, up 21.1% YoY from RMB 877.73 mln a year before. Revenue from connection and distribution products was RMB 4.41 mln, down 77.9% YoY from RMB 19.95 mln in 2011. Revenue from equipment room accessories was RMB 10.12 mln, up 31.0% YoY from RMB 6.73 mln a year before.

Revenue from mainland Chinese sales of fiber optic patch cords was RMB 949.73 mln, up 14.2% YoY from RMB 831.53 mln. Revenue from overseas sales of fiber optic patch cords was RMB 14.53 mln, down 47.5% YoY from RMB 27.67 mln.
