Motorola, Intel, China Mobile Launch New TD-SCDMA Smarthpone

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has partnered with Motorola Mobility and Intel to release the new RAZR i MT788 smartphone on the China market. The handset comes equipped with a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2480 processor, a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 megapixel screen, 4GB of ROM, a 1735mAh battery, and supports TD-SCDMA, EDGE, GPRS, and GSM networks. The MT788 runs on an Android 4.0 OS and comes with an 800 mega-pixel camera that can take up to 30 pictures in rapid succession using the camera's high speed photo feature.

The handset will be available at certified Motorola retailers, China Mobile service halls, and Motorola's "Moto.com" website in early December.
