China Unicom Appoints Non-Executive Director

China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) has appointed Fan Chiu Fun Fanny Law as an independent non-executive director as well as a member of the Audit Committee of the company, effective November 21, 2012.
Law is currently a Deputy of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China.
