Taobao "12/12" Sale to Drop Conditions for Store Participation

Hangzhou-based C2C & B2C e-commerce site Taobao announced today that it will open this year's December 12 ("12/12") sale to all merchants with "zero barrier to entry," rather than requiring merchants to apply uniform discounts as in previous years. Customers who log onto Taobao during the December 12 sale will be able to go to a "My Wishlist" page displaying items they have previously favorited or added to their online shopping carts, along with all product discounts and product descriptions provided by merchants.
