250K Merchants Register for Taobao December 12th Sale

Hangzhou-based B2C and C2C e-commerce site Taobao has opened its December 12 sales promotion to all merchants on the platform, with over 250,000 merchants registering to participate on November 26, the first day of registration. Over 90% of registrants have a star or diamond rating. 1.5 mln products across 240 categories are already listed.
