MIIT Announces Jan-Oct 2012 IT Industry Investment Statistics

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released statistics on fixed asset investments in the national IT industry for the first ten months of 2012, with total completed investment on IT projects valued at RMB 781 bln, up 6.1% YoY. Total completed investment in the month of October dropped 1.4% YoY to RMB 85.75 bln, and new fixed assets purchased during the ten-month period totaled RMB 382.9 bln, up 9.3% YoY.
