ZTE CEO: US Handset Revenue to Reach USD 1 Bln

Hou Weigui, CEO of Chinese telecom equipment and terminal manufacturer ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ), has revealed in an interview with Forbes that the company's handset revenue from the US market is expected to reach USD 1 bln in 2012. ZTE's US handset revenue is primarily derived from the sales of mid- to lower-range handsets.
