360Buy Promotes CSO to VP

According to a knowledgeable source, Zhao Guoqing, Chief Strategy Officer of Beijing-based B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy, has been appointed to as Vice Chairman of the company. Zhao will retain his responsibilities as CSO in addition to his new management and operations responsibilities.

Zhao previously held a position at Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Lenovo (0992.HK). Zhao joined 360Buy in July as the company's CSO, responsible for organization, operations, and business strategy. Zhao is a former classmate of 360Buy CEO Liu Qiangdong.
