NSN to Include Shanghai Factory in Sale of Optical Business

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) recently announced that it will sell its optical networks business unit to Marlin Equity Partners for an undisclosed sum. As a part of the transaction, NSN will also transfer ownership of its fiber optic equipment factory in Shanghai, along with management responsibilities for the over 100 employees of the factory, to Marlin.

NSN previously announced the sale of its fiber optic business unit to Marlin on December 3. The business unit has over 1,100 employees worldwide in Germany, Spain, and China.
