TCL Multimedia Climbs to No. 4 among Global LCD TV Makers

Chinese television manufacturer TCL Multimedia (1070.HK) has announced that it was the world's fourth largest LCD television manufacturer, by shipments, in the third quarter of 2012, according to DisplaySearch. TCL Multimedia's global LCD TV market share increased from 5.0% in the second quarter of 2012 to 6.7% in the third quarter of 2012. The company accounted for 18.7% of all LCD TV shipments in China during the quarter, making it the largest company in the China market.
