Yihaodian: 2,000 Brands Using Open Platform Service

Wang Haihui, CEO of Chinese B2C online retailer Yihaodian, has revealed that more than 2,000 brands and 20,000 products are hosted on the company's open platform retail service. More than 70% of brands hosted on Yihaodian's open platform are "traditional brands," or brands that are typically found in supermarkets and other offline retailers.

Yihaodian estimates that the number of brands joining its open platform for full-year 2013 will be ten times greater than the number of brands joining the platform in 2012.

Traditional brands joining Yihaodian's open platform service will receive systems, personnel, warehousing and distribution support from Yihaodian, as well as access to group-buy and advertising resources.
