U1 Game to Invest RMB 50 Mln in Mobile Gaming

Chen Shu, founder of Beijing-based online game developer and operator U1 Game Digital, recently disclosed that the company plans to invest RMB 50 mln in mobile gaming next year. The company plans to complete R&D on three mobile browser game projects and begin the product operations phase.

U1 Game Digital's first mobile game, Diyi Ouxiang (First Idol), will be available for the iPad as of January 2013, followed by the other two titles in the summer. U1 Game Digital also plans to expand its presence in overseas mobile gaming markets, and has already partnered with operators in several countries and regions.
