Tuding001 Adds Voice Comments to Mobile Photo Sharing App

Tuding001.com, the photo sharing SNS operated by Finnish location-based technology developer GeoSentric Oyj's Shanghai-based China subsidiary GyPSii, yesterday released a new version of its mobile photo sharing application that allow users to append voice comments and descriptions of up to 30 seconds in length to uploaded images.

Established in 2011, GyPSii Shanghai now has 90 employees, and reportedly obtained RMB 10 mln in funding from Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) a year ago. Tuding001 has 8 mln registered users, approximately 20% of whom are active users who have uploaded a total of 15.5 mln images and added 56 mln comments. More than 20,000 celebrities and approximately 10 mln organizations have opened accounts on the platform.
