Vietnamese Operator Removes Giant Game over Map Dispute

Vietnamese game operator VNG has stopped hosting Chinese online game developer and operator Giant Interactive's (NYSE: GA) MMORPG ZT Online II in South East Asia after it was discovered that a recently released update for the game marked a chain of islands disputed between China and Vietnam as belonging to China. VNG announced on December 18 that it has terminated its partnership with Giant.
