China Digital TV Appoints New Independent Director

China Digital TV, 12/24/12

DTV conditional access system provider China Digital TV Holding (NYSE: STV) today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of independent director Ng Ching Wah due to personal reasons, effective December 31, 2012. Following Ng's resignation, Eric Xu has been appointed as an independent director effective December 31, 2012.

Xu currently serves as the managing director for the China Aerospace Industry Investment Fund.
