Amazon China Criticized by Shanghai Consumer Rights Committee

The Shanghai Consumer Rights Protection Committee has released its first e-commerce services consumer report. In the report, US e-commerce giant Amazon's China operations received criticism for alleged merchandise quality problems, unfair return policies, and ignoring consumer rights.

Amazon is currently undergoing discussion on the report with related government agencies, according to the company.
