HP China Establishes New QC and Customer Service Dept.

HP's China Printing and Personal Systems (PPS) Group announced today that group has formed a new quality control and customer service group in China. The newly established group will monitor all aspects of HP's production chain to guarantee high quality design, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service for its products in the China market. HP has merged two of its PPS post-sale customer support centers into the newly formed "Quality and Service Center" to provide 24/7 support to customers in China through the Group.

According to Rong Guangyu, the head of China Customer Support for HP, HP has 1,100 authorized service stores in China and plans to expand the number of authorized service stores to 1,500 in 2013. The expansion will come from new locations in low-tier Chinese cities and counties.
