Rumor: 360Buy to Launch E-Commerce Web Directory

An industry source has revealed that Beijing-based B2C e-commerce platform 360Buy will soon launch an e-commerce web directory. 360Buy has reportedly purchased the domain name www.dao123.com for the new site, and records with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) confirm that the domain name does indeed belong to 360Buy. According to the source, 360Buy is in the middle of preparations to launch the site, and hopes that the directory will help the company to better analyze e-commerce Internet traffic.
