China Exports 527 Mln Mobile Handsets in H1 2013

According to data released by China's General Administration of Customs, mobile handset exports reached 527 mln units in H1 2013, an increase of 15.2% YoY. The total export value of mobile handsets in H1 2013 was USD 41.55 bln, an increase of 16% YoY. As of the end of June, the average price per exported handset was USD 81, flat from the end of H2 2012.
The US is the largest market for China's handset exports. 47% of China's handset exports are shipped through Hong Kong.
