Baidu Mobile Search to Reduce Indexing of PC Sites

Luo Xujian, Senior Product Designer for Chinese internet company Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) mobile search division, has stated that Baidu began to reduce and even eliminate indexing of PC webpages beginning in mid-December for its mobile search engine. According to Luo, the move is meant to encourage site administrators to construct mobile websites to optimize user mobile search experience.
