TCL Multimedia to Release Gaming Products

Hao Yi, CEO of Chinese television manufacturer TCL Multimedia (1070.HK), has revealed that the company will soon enter the gaming industry, releasing a specialized smart gaming console as well as a gaming television product, the former of which is similar to Microsoft's Xbox.

TCL Multimedia has announced a partnership with Shenzhen-based mobile game developer Shixun Hulian Technology (ATET), presumably to release games for TCL's console and TV gaming devices. In 2013, ATET released its mobile gaming-focused "Commander" quad-core handset.
