Meizu Seeks RMB 1 Bln in New Funding

Jack Wong, Chairman of Zhuhai-based handset manufacturer Meizu, has announced on the company's official online forum that Meizu will seek RMB 1 bln in funding in 2014 in order to pursue market expansion and new product development.
Editor's Note: Wong has traditionally undertaken many of his duties at Meizu from home, rarely reporting to the Meizu offices.
