Qihoo 360 to Revamp Web Directory Page

Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) has announced that the company will revamp its hao.360.cn online web directory, soliciting user suggestions for a new name for the site. The upgraded site will increase the amount of content on the hao.360.cn page, including news, film, TV show, and game content, while reducing the total number of links displayed.

The new site will add a "Daily Headlines" box, aggregating news from Sina (Nasdaq: SINA), Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU), Netease (Nasdaq: NTES), and Phoenix New Media (PNM) (NYSE: FENG), among other online news providers. Images linking to e-commerce sites will also be displayed more prominently, including B2C e-commerce sites TMall, JD.com (Jingdong), Amazon, and Yihaodian.

The site will offer personalized content recommendations based on user interests, as well as lifestyle services such as travel and accommodations, utility payment, mobile top up, credit card bill payments, and restaurant booking.
