Liepin.com Lands USD 70 Mln Series C Funding

Online recruitment website Liepin.com (formerly Lietou.com), operated by Beijing-based Wan Shi Dao, has announced the receipt of USD 70 mln in third-round funding led by Warburg Pincus LLC, with participation from Matrix Partners. The company plans to use the funding for product investment, optimization of company technology, and brand development.
Liepin.com brings together enterprises recruiting new talent, professional headhunters, and individual job seekers, among which enterprises make up the largest revenue segment for the company. Liepin.com charges fees to enterprises based on their recruitment needs, required level of service, recruitment timeframe, and service content, providing them with professional, customized, and high-end recruitment assistance.
Liepin.com has 11 mln users, with more than 100,000 partner headhunters and another 100,000 enterprise clients. The website expects to provide recruitment services to over 200,000 enterprises this year. Dai Kebin, CEO of Liepin, has stated that the website currently has a total of 11 branch companies, with that number to rise to 15 this year, and expand to 20 next year.
