YY Launches PC, Mobile Client for Independent Education Brand

Chinese voice-chat SNS platform and online game portal operator YY Inc (Nasdaq: YY) has officially launched its independent online education site, 100.com. YY has released PC and mobile client versions of the platform, allowing students to register and take courses online. Instructors can upload coursework to the 100.com platform for student download, including PowerPoint presentations, videos, and audio lessons. The newly launched site will also leverage YY's video and voice technology to provide live streaming online courses.

At the same time, 100.com has also released a companion study app for Android and iOS users, allowing students to check instructor corrections of their written work.
