Mobile Healthcare App 'Meet You' Completes USD 35 Mln Series C

Xiamen-based Meiyou Information Technology, developer of women's menstrual health app Meet You, has announced the completion of USD 35 mln in third-round funding led by SIG Asia Investment, with participation from Matrix Partners and China Renaissance K2 Ventures. The funding will primarily be used to expand human resources and improve the app's SNS features.

In April 2013, Meet You landed first-round funding from China Renaissance K2 Ventures. In January 2014, Meet You closed a USD 15 mln second round of financing led by Matrix Partners. Chen Fangyi, the app's founder, and his team invested USD 5 mln in the app's second round of funding.

As of June 2014, Meet You's registered users have surpassed 50 mln, with average daily active users of over 3.5 mln.
