Rumor: Dangdang to Launch Digital Publishing Platform

According to a source close to the matter, Chinese B2C e-commerce site Dangdang (NYSE: DANG) has established an "Original Content Group," with plans to launch the company's own digital publishing platform.
Dangdang VP Yao Danqian has revealed that the company plans to soon publish books, movies, TV programs, and mobile games based on licensed content.
