DoNews, 1/09/15

Hangzhou-based Kuaizhi Technology, operator of taxi booking app Kuaidi Dache, has announced that the company's high-end car booking app Kuaidi One will establish an RMB 100 mln passenger compensation fund in case of accidents. Kuaidi Dache has signed a deal with Ping An Insurance (2318.HK; 601318.SH) to create the fund.

If a customer is involved in an accident while using the service, the customer can apply for insurance compensation directly from Kuaizhi, which will pay up to RMB 500,000 from the fund in compensation. The insurance only covers operations for Kuaidi One in mainland China.
