China Mobile's Gaming, Music Firm 'Migu' Officially Starts Operation

China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) gaming and music subsidiary, Migu Culture Technology, will begin operations on January 15, within the China Mobile group headquarters in Beijing.

Migu was set up on November 18, 2014, with RMB 200 mln in registered capital. China Mobile's data division manager Liu Xin is the company's legal representative. Migu is China Mobile's subsidiary responsible for the provision, operation, and service of music and gaming products.

Migu.cn, previously the domain name for China Mobile's music site, has been upgraded and is now Migu's official website.
