Online Recruitment Platform 'HunterOn' Lands RMB 200 Mln Series C

Shanghai-based Lieshang Network Technology, operator of online recruitment website HunterOn.com, has announced at a press conference the completion of RMB 200 mln in Series C funding, led by UOB Venture Management and with participation from IDG Capital Partners.

HunterOn focuses mainly on recruitment for jobs with an annual salary in excess of RMB 150,000, including both technical and managerial roles. The platform is available in three versions: one designed for job hunters, one for HR personnel, and one for headhunters.

The job-hunter version allows users to create a profile, check online job listings, submit applications directly, and subsequently monitor the progress they make. The HR-oriented version allows parties to post job notices, sort applicants according to specific requirements, and view their resumes. The headhunter version provides both job listings and job seekers' information and then recommends suitable candidates for suitable positions.

There are currently more than 30,000 businesses on HunterOn, with technology, finance and real estate among the industries represented. The platform works with over 20,000 headhunting agencies and has more than 60,000 registered consultants, mainly based in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu.

HunterOn takes approximately 20% of the service fees generated by headhunting firms which use the site.

Lieshang, founded in August 2012, previously raised Series B funding in November 2014 and completed Series A funding in April of the same year.
