Mydrivers.com, 8/01/17

Chinese B2C e-commerce platform JD.com (Nasdaq: JD) recently announced upgrades to its employee home purchase assistance program, which will now help employees working in Beijing to purchase a home in a wider area including Beijing, Tianjin, Sanhe, Langfang, Gaobeidian, and Zhuozhou. The expanded coverage region extends to approximately 100 km from JD.com headquarters, and most areas are accessible by highway within approximately 1.5 hours.

JD.com launched its "Anju Program" home buying assistance program in 2012 with RMB 450 mln in funding. The plan provides mortgage-free, unsecured, interest-free loans of up to RMB 1 mln to qualified employees to help them buy a home.
