Daily Orders on Bike-sharing App Ofo Exceed 25 Mln

Beijing-based Bikelock Technology, operator of mobile bicycle-sharing app Ofo, now handles more than 25 mln orders per day, revealed Deputy CEO Fu Qiang.

Fu also said that the platform intends to operate in 20 countries and 200 cities by the end of 2017, with over 20 mln shared bicycles in operation.

Ofo currently operates in 8 countries covering 170 cities. It has more than 8 mln shared bicycles worldwide, and has handled more than 3 bln bike rental orders on behalf of more than 100 mln customers. Ofo users in its top 20 cities in China have ridden a combined distance of approximately 1.2 bln kilometers, equivalent to circling the globe nearly 30,000 times.
