Digital Signature Platform BestSign Raises RMB 100 Mln Series B Funding

Hangzhou-based Shangshang Qian Network Technology, operator of online and mobile contract-signing platform BestSign, recently announced completion of RMB 100 mln in Series B funding led by Morningside Ventures, with participation from existing shareholders Matrix Partners China, DCM Ventures, Shunwei Venture Capital, and software developer and online entertainment provider Kingsoft (3888.HK).

BestSign, established in August 2014, provides enterprises and individuals with professional services covering the complete life cycle of electronic contracts, including real-name verification, online contract signing, contract depository services, litigation support, and insurance claim filing. BestSign also specializes in the application of blockchain technology in areas such as customer real-name verification, agreement signing, administration, maintenance, and contract guarantees. The company also purchases data security insurance for its clients.

BestSign currently has over 10 mln signatures per day on its platform and has reached over 1 bln total annual signatures. BestSign has served over 300,000 enterprises and clients, covering multiple industries, including internet finance. The company has also formed strategic partnerships with Microsoft Office, Kingsoft WPS, and Bitfury.
