Multiscreen, Multitrack Short Video Creation App Dongci Lands RMB 8-digit Pre-A Funding

Beijing-based Wenlu Technology, operator of mobile short video creation app Dongci, has completed RMB 8-digit pre-Series A funding led by China Creation Ventures and with participation from Lotus Capital.

Dongci is a mobile app supporting multiscreen and multitrack short video interaction. Users can upload 1-6 short video clips to edit together and publish. A split track recording synthesis feature for audio and video can allow users to create a single image video of them separately singing, playing the guitar, and playing the drums in distinct boxes with synchronized sound. Users can manipulate already published multi-box videos by replacing any box with their own content to create a new work.

Dongci previously won seed funding from Holch Capital and RMB 7-digit angel funding from Lotus Capital.
