Chinese B2C e-commerce platform JD.com (Nasdaq: JD) recently launched a new smart office management solution for enterprise scenarios called JD Jingdian.
The new service combines cloud computing, big data, image recognition, and smart voice technologies and JD.com's "Xiao Yi" one-stop enterprise services platform to provide functions for employee attendance, printing, meetings, office supplies management, and office assets management. The system helps businesses move their management functions online, integrate data and information resources, and combine hardware, software, and services to create a next-generation office management solution based on smart human-computer interaction.
JD.com's Xiao Yi platform can also connect with smart whiteboard, projector, and camera devices to create smart meeting rooms with support for smart reservations, sign-in, and mobile device screen projection, as well as automatic meeting summary and task generation and distribution to meeting participants. The platform also supports simultaneous collaborative white-boarding by users in multiple locations, automatic recording, and sharing of written content to meeting attendees.
