Cainiao to Invest RMB 100 Bln to Build National Smart Logistics Network

Jack Ma, chairman at Chinese internet conglomerate Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), recently said that Alibaba's smart logistics company Cainiao Network Technology will invest RMB 100 bln to create a national smart logistics backbone network. Ma said that once the logistics network has been constructed it will enable express shipments to be delivered in less than 24 hours domestically and in less than 72 hours internationally.
