Blockchain-based Energy Service Provider MixisLink Wins RMB 15 Mln Investment

Chinese new energy service provider Tunghsu Azure (000040.SZ) disclosed today the recent signing of an agreement to acquire a 20% stake in blockchain-based energy service provider MixisLink Technology for a total consideration of RMB 15 mln.

MixisLink is an energy blockchain technology service provider, which has developed several energy blockchain platforms. MixisLink's main chain, "Junengchain," allows energy industry clients to participate in resource and data sharing.

Tunghsu Azure's investment is aimed at developing energy blockchain technology to achieve smart operations, convenient trading, and optimized costs in energy. Tunghsu Azure also hopes to utilize energy blockchain technology to record and track production and transaction information for different types of energy, which can transform energy into a medium for storing value and make it possible to achieve synergy among different energy systems.
