Karaoke Solutions Provider Thunderstone Completes RMB 200 Mln Series B

Beijing-based Bohui Tiandi Technology, operator of karaoke system software brand Thunderstone Technology, has announced the completion of nearly RMB 200 mln in Series B funding led by China Minsheng Investment Group, with participation by the company's founder, Morningside Ventures and Beijing Yuemi Technology.

Founded in 1996, Thunderstone Technology's early business was focused on providing karaoke software and hardware solutions. In its current stage, its enterprise customer business is relatively stable, and it is now hoping to break into the consumer market to better serve individuals' music entertainment needs.

For consumers, the company has 2 lines of business. In 2014 the company launched an at-home karaoke machine, and cooperated with Xiaomi TV to launch a "Happy Songs" app that was targeted for home entertainment users. At the beginning of 2017, the company then launched a standalone karaoke booth dubbed the "Wow Room."
