Professional SNS App Maimai Completes USD 200 Mln Series D

Professional SNS app Maimai, operated by Beijing-based Taoyou Tianxia Technology Development, has completed USD 200 mln in Series D funding led by DST Global and with participation from previous investors IDG Capital Partners, Morningside Ventures, and DCM Ventures.
Maimai is planning to partner with firms such as network equipment manufacturer Cisco Systems, Shenzhen-based real estate development company Fashion Group, and digital media group Focus Media Holding (002027.SZ) to create a vocational development plan for the full-time employment market. Maimai will invest RBM 1.0 bln in the "Stairway to Heaven Plan" and partner with thousands of companies in each industry to energize the human resources market, according to Maimai vice president of human resources Ling Juan. Prior to the new plan, Maimai had already begun offering clients enterprise services, primarily focused around job recruitment.
