Q&A Site Zhihu's User Base Exceeds 200 Mln

Chinese online and mobile Q&A community Zhihu.com, operated by Beijing-based Zhizhe Tianxia Technology, exceeded 200 mln registered users at the end of August, revealed CEO Zhou Yuan at the 2018 China Cybersecurity Expo under way in Chengdu from September 17-21. As Zhihu.com had 120 mln users at the end of 2017, that means it added 80 mln in the first eight months of 2018.
Zhihu users are widely distributed across China's first-, second-, and third-tier cities. Users include both major industry workers, such as teachers, civil servants, product managers, and students, as well as workers from more niche industries, such as paleo-vertebrate researchers and go-kart drivers. Content generated by this vast array of users provides Zhihu.com with an valuable resource across every industry.
