Tencent Shuts Down 'Exiangtuan' Group Buying Service

Chinese internet conglomerate Tencent (0700.HK) has shut down its 'Exiangtuan' group buying service and dissolved the related development team, says ITHome, citing a report from Chinese tech media 36Kr's Tech Planet team.

Checking messaging platform WeChat for the Exiangtuan mini-program, ITHome found a notice that explained, "As of May 31, 2023, the developer has suspended the Exiangtuan mini-program service."
