LBS K.ai Expects Users to Exceed 30 Mln by Year-end

Mu Rong, CEO of Chinese location-based service (LBS) provider K.ai, recently revealed that the number of users of the site is expected to surpass 30 mln this year. Mu said that with 1 mln registered users and counting, he is satisfied with the growth of K'ai's user base. Mu also said that in its current development stage the site has engaged in free partnerships with a number of group buy websites and has no plans to begin collecting revenue on group buy deals offered on the site. Mu added that K.ai will not begin charging fees until the site reaches at least 10 mln users.
