Ad Agency Protests Outside 55Tuan Headquarters

Tencent Tech, 1/12/12

A number of employees of Beijing-based online and mobile advertising agency Emar Online Technology gathered outside the Beijing headquarters of group-buy site 55Tuan today, unfurling banners calling for 55Tuan to pay money it owes Emar. Emar reportedly partnered with 55Tuan on online marketing efforts.

55Tuan confirmed that it owed money to Emar, and said that it had paid a portion of the money owed. 55Tuan said that the majority of Chinese group buy sites are now in arrears for commissions.
