Chinese online video site LeTV (Leshi) (300104.SZ) announced today that former Lenovo senior executive Liang Jun had officially joined LeTV as VP and general manager for internet television. Liang will report directly to the CEO of the company.
Liang said that LeTV would work to create a "platform + content + hardware + applications" service structure. In his new role at the company, Liang will step up brand operations and market development for the LeTV HD internet TV player.
Liang Jun joined Lenovo in April 1995, where he served in roles including general manager for Lenovo's product chain management division, GM for servers, GM for product marketing at Lenovo Mobile Communications Technology, and VP for development of smartphone products.
Former Myspace.cn VP Lei Zhenjian and former STAR Group Limited executive Hao Fang are among the industry figures who joined LeTV last year.
